Brodifacoum is the most powerful anticoagulant. It acts as the active principle of other anticoagulants.
Once ingested, it has a greater ability to withstand degradation. That is why even a single ingestion can be deadly on all rodents resistant to currently known anticoagulants.
With Brodifacoum, the quantity of bait required to obtain a lethal dose is very small and corresponds to less than the 5% of the daily food consumption of both mouse and rat.

LETHAL DOSE PER MULTIPLE INGESTION (LD50)
expressed in grams of bait administered over five consecutive days to average size subjects
